In Wes Anderson's new movie, Moonrise Kingdom, one of the main characters, Suzy, takes her favorite library books with her when she runs away from home. Wes Anderson commissioned six different illustrators to design the book covers, and then paired each illustrator with an animator to create this animated short. If you haven't seen Moonrise Kingdom yet, you really should! And while we're on the subject of movies, last week I rented Romantics Anonymous, a French film about two chocolatiers who fall in love, but who are too painfully shy to do anything about it. I highly recommend it!
oh yeah, thank you for your recommendation. I just needed that. today I saw 'romantics anonymous' in the program of our open air cinema and wondered if thats something for me. now I will definitely see it. and thanks for sharing the video, I lo-lo-loooved moonrise kingdom!
