

Madison is a small town located sixty miles east of Atlanta. During the Civil War, the Union general, William T. Sherman, decided not burn it during his "March to the Sea," so it is now known as the town too pretty to burn.
I thought this piece was appropriate for this week's Illustration Friday theme because it took a lot of fuel to get there!
